Ideally the system should be designed and installed along with the other mechanical trades during the construction of your new home.   If your home is already built the cost to install (retrofit), your home can increase.

Generally speaking the cost for a residential sprinkler system, installed during the original construction, will cost less than $1.00 per square foot, and can be as low as $0.65 per square foot.   Completing the Sprinkler Estimator will give you a price tailored to your home.

There are too many variables to investigate in order to specifically figure the exact cost of your system, but by completing the following form, you will be able to get an idea of the cost. To figure the square footage (sq. ft) of a room, simply multiply the width times the length. For example, a room that has a width of 10 feet and a length of 12 feet has a total of 120 sq. ft.
